1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. apples, chopped
2 lg. eggs
1 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix together. Pour in greased and floured 9"x15" pan.

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts
