DATE LOAF 
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
Butter, size of egg
1 box dates
5 or 6 marshmallows
3 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together first 5 ingredients and cook until, when dropped in cold water, form soft ball. Add pecans and vanilla. Cool; then roll in a damp cloth to form a loaf or roll.
