CHOCOLATE NUTELLA HALLOWEEN GHOST CAKE | |
Cake: 1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vinegar 1 tsp. salt 1/3 c. cocoa powder 1/2 c. oil 1 c. water White Chocolate Ghosts: melted white chocolate black decorating gel wax paper toothpicks Frosting: 1 Jar Nutella Nutella is a chocolate hazelnut spread. Chocolate frosting can also be used. Cake: Combine all of the ingredients using an electric mixer. Make sure that the batter is free of lumps. Pour into a greased 9-inch round baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 27 to 30 minutes. Cake will be very moist. Flip it on to a cutting board, then to a plate. Let cool, then frost. Ghosts: Lay out a piece of wax paper. Spoon melted white chocolate onto the wax paper. Use the toothpick to shape them into ghost shapes. Take the black decorating gel and draw a spooky or funny face on the ghosts. Let them harden. You can make them as big or as little as you want. I made extra. I put one big one in the middle of the cake. Then with black decorating gel, I wrote HAPPY on top of the ghost, and HALLOWEEN on the bottom. If you make several small ones, you can put them in a circle so everyone has a ghost on their piece. Then, in the middle you can write HAPPY HALLOWEEN. It's great for parties. Enjoy! Submitted by: Leeza Malachevsky |
