APRICOT BREAD 
1 c. apricots
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. soft butter
1 egg
1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/4 c. water

Soak apricots 30 minutes or until soft. Mix sugar, butter, and egg. Add water and juice. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, apricots, and nuts. Line bread pan with greased wax paper and pour batter in. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes.
