APRICOT BREAD 
1 c. cut up dried apricots
1/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
Sugar

Soak apricots in water for 1/2 hour. Cream sugar and butter and add remaining ingredients. Add apricot mixture and stir. Pour into 2 small loaf pans and sprinkle with small amount of sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
