LASAGNA 
12 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
30 oz. jar Ragu or other spaghetti sauce
16 oz. carton cottage cheese
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
2 lbs. ground beef (to taste), may use less
2 c. warm water

Saute ground beef, pour off fat. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Add extra salt and/or spices here if needed.

Place half the noodles in 9x12 inch pan, then sauce mixture. Make another layer of noodles and sauce mixture. Pour 2 cups warm water over all.

Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and check to see if noodles are done.

Top with cottage cheese, then Mozzarella, last, Cheddar. Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving -- easier serving in squares. Serves 8 to 10 generously.
