QUICK AND EASY CHILI 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
2 (12 oz.) jars Ortega mild, medium, or hot thick and chunky salsa
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
Shredded cheese, optional

In 4 quart saucepan, over medium heat, cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is no longer pink, stirring occasionally to break up meat; drain. Add beans, salsa, chili powder, oregano and cumin. Cover; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve topped with cheese if desired.

Preparation time: 10 minutes. Total time: 45 minutes. Serves 6.
