SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. egg noodles
1 c. cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1/2 c. minced onion
1 lb. hamburger
1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 c. cubed Cheddar cheese

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Fold in cottage cheese, sour cream and onion. Set aside.

Cook meat until no longer pink. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Spoon half of noodle mixture into lightly greased 2-quart casserole. Top with half of meat mixture. Repeat layers; bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese melts. Yields 8 servings.
