SOFT SOUR CREAM DATE NUT COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. dates, measured after chopping
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and mix well. Add sour cream and vanilla. Mix and sift all dry ingredients together. Add to butter mixture. Add nuts and dates.

Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees. These cookies remain soft after baking. Batter may be kept in the refrigerator a week.
