3/4 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. nuts
1 3/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix shortening, eggs, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Mix dry ingredients together and blend all together. Bake in 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.

ICING:

3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tbsp. hot coffee
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg yolk

Melt butter and egg yolk. Mix sugar, cocoa, cinnamon. Add to butter and egg mixture and add hot coffee last.
