SUGAR COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4-5 c. flour

Cream sugar, sour cream, and butter; add eggs. Then add remaining ingredients. When dough gets to thick for mixture, take out and work by hand until you have a soft dough. Refrigerate overnight. Roll out dough and cut out cookies. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Don't over cook.

ICING:

3 c. 10x sugar
1 stick butter
Dash of salt
1 egg, beaten
Drop of vanilla

Mix ingredients together. Spread over cookies.
