SOUTHERN BAKED BEANS 
4 (16 oz.) cans pork & beans
1 1/2 c. thick ketchup
3/4 c. (fresh) minced onion
3/4 c. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. molasses
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Pour into a 2 quart baking dish. Top with strips of bacon or add 2 tablespoons hickory smoke flavored barbeque sauce. Bake for 30 minutes at 425 degrees. Turn down to 350 degrees and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Remove cover for last 30 minutes to let beans brown.
