BROILED SCALLOPS 
2 lb. scallops
Salt and pepper
Paprika
butter
Fresh parsley sprigs (optional)
Lemon wedges (optional)

Rinse scallops well; place in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dot with butter. Broil 3 inches form heat for 5 to 8 minutes, basting with pan drippings several times. Arrange scallops on serving dish; garnish with parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
