CANDIED SWEET POTATO 
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 (16 oz.) cans sweet potatoes, drained
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

In dish combine brown sugar, butter and salt. Heat stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; add sweet potatoes. Baste with syrup. Mixture and cook with foil for 15 minutes or until well glazed. Serves 6 to 8.
