TEXAS STRAW HATS 
1 c. chopped onions
2/3 c. chopped celery
2/3 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 lbs. hamburger
2-3 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (6o z.) cans tomato paste
1/2 c. catsup
2 c. water
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Corn chips

Saute onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender, but not brown. Brown ground beef, drain grease, add the remaining ingredients except the cheese and chips. Simmer 1 hour uncovered, put some chops in a plate. Top with meat mixture and cheese.
