MUSHROOM RUMAKI 
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
10 to 12 slices bacon (about 8 oz), cut in half

Drain mushrooms, reserving broth for use in soup, sauce or gravy. Cut water chestnuts in half, lengthwise. Wrap one mushroom and a piece of water chestnut in a half slice of bacon.

Secure with wooden picks. Broil slowly, turning as necessary, until bacon is crisp.

Serve warm.

Makes 20 to 24 appetizers.
