RUMAKI 
1 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1/8 tsp. ginger
2 (8 oz.) cans whole peeled water chestnuts
1/2 lb. bacon

Mix soy sauce with sugar and ginger. Drain water chestnuts. Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap bacon around water chestnuts, securing each with a toothpick. Marinate 4 hours or longer, even overnight, in soy sauce mixture. Broil at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
