SAUSAGE STRATA 
1 lb. sausage
Soft butter
3/4 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
5 slices white bread
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Cook sausage; drain well. Butter bread on 1 side and cut into cubes. Put 1/2 on bottom of 8 inch dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 of cheese. Cover with sausage, then bread, then cheese. Dress with eggs, milk, seasonings. Cover and refrigerator overnight. Bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
