DOUBLE CHIP COOKIES | |
3/4 c. butter, softened 1/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (6 oz.) pkg. peanut butter morsels 1 (6 oz.) pkg. of semi-sweet chocolate morsels Cream butter and shortening gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Stir in peanut butter and chocolate morsels. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheet; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Yields about 5 1/2 dozen. |
