PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH POTATO CANDY | |
1 potato, cooked 1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar pinch of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 reg. jar peanut butter Mash potato. Mix confectioners' sugar and salt in separate bowl. Blend in vanilla. To the mixture, add a teaspoon of potato at a time until mixture becomes a spreadable dough. If it becomes too watery, add more confectioners' sugar. Roll out and spread peanut butter over dough. Roll in a roll and refrigerate 1/2 to 1 hour. Cut into slices and serve. Submitted by: Heather May |
