The Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

I'm not sure where these positive reviews are coming from...because this recipe did not make peanut butter fudge. More like a peanut butter crumble. I followed the recipe exactly as written and it came together as a dry chunk of peanut butter fudge flavored crumble. The only reason I did not give this one star is because it actually tasted good. I will not make this recipe again, I tried to save time and use less ingredients..but I will be sticking to my grandmothers recipe from now on.

Almost didn't make it as it seemed to easy to be true. I just made it, and WOW, wonderful! Followed the recipe exactly, except I doubled it! SO yummy!

This old fashioned fudge recipe is the same one my grandmother, mother myself and now my daughters make for their kids. So simple and tasty. I usually make six batches and give it to friends and family. If this 49 year old widowed dad can make it, anyone can!

Great recipe! I also added tablespoon of fluff marshmallow cream... BUT... THE SECRET TO NOT HAVING IT GRAINY OR ALL THE SUGAR NOT MELTED IS TO GET A THERMOMETER THAT YOU CAN LEAVE IN HE POT WHILE ITS BOILING AND MAKE SURE... AND THIS IS THE SPECIFIC PART... THAT IT REACHES 235°F. It takes longer than the 2 minutes to reach that temp but takes all the guesswork out!!! Enjoy!!!

What temperature do I put it on to bring it to a boil. I made this a long, long time ago and messed up twice before I finally got it right. Now I just want to make sure I don't mess up again. To be honest I tried it a month ago and it ended up hardening right when I got it off the burner because I put it on quick boil. So, I'm iffy on trying it again but it's just so good!!

I have similar recipe but calls for 1/2 cup butter. You combine milk, sugar, and butter together and bring to a soft ball stage and then remove from heat add peanut butter stir it add vanilla and stir real good then pour onto a butter platter

Thank you Jen. I've been making pb fudge for years and forgot if it was 2 cups of milk or sugar... Your recipe is the same as mine..

This fudge is exactly as I remember from my childhood. A sitter used to make it once a month for myself and my brother and sister. I love it. In fact, I have never cared for the creamy, creamy fudges because of this recipe. Thanks Jenn for posting. I now have the recipe thanks to you. Great trip down memory lane to boot.

This recipe is AMAZING. It's rich and creamy and melts in your mouth, and the vanilla flavor perks through just right... This is the easiest and nicest PB fudge I've ever made!!!! This recipe is going in my personal cookbook!
