DOUBLE CHOCOLATE DELIGHT CAKE 
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. hot coffee
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cocoa and hot coffee together, set aside. Cool. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients together. Add to the coffee mixture and beat well. Dissolve baking soda in hot water and add to the batter and beat again. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan or smaller.
