HOT ROLLS 
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 cake yeast
1/2 c. lard
1/2 tsp. salt
5 c. flour

Mix the sugar, water, and yeast. Sift flour and salt together; work in the lard and add the mixture of the first 3 ingredients. Knead well. Put in refrigerator. Keep well covered, use as needed taking out 1 1/2 hours before baking to allow for rising. Bake in an oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
