QUICK HOT ROLLS | |
1 pkg. rapid dry yeast 4 c. Pillsbury all-purpose flour 2 tbsp. Crisco 4 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 3 1/2 c. warm water 1/2 c. warm water Sift flour in large mixing bowl with sugar and salt. Blend in Crisco. Pour dry yeast into 1/2 cup of warm water. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar over yeast; let set until yeast rises to top of water, blend into dry ingredients using the warm water to mix. Allow to rise, to double portion. Make rolls of choice; let rise again to double portion. Bake at 400 degrees. |
