HOT ROLLS 
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. shortening
3 c. flour
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 yeast cake
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream together shortening, sugar and salt. Add beaten egg. Dissolve yeast cake in warm milk and add to mixture. Add flour gradually. Pour out on floured surface and work flour into dough until it handles well. Place in large greased bowl. Place in refrigerator and use as needed. Bake in 400 degree oven 15-25 minutes.
