QUICK AND MOIST SOUR BREAD 
5 c. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. and 2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 (12 oz.) can of beer

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, sugar. Add sour cream and beer alternately, mix well. Pour batter into greased 2 quart round baking dish or loaf pans. Bake 45 minutes. Brush top with butter. Bake 10 to 20 minutes longer or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm, cold or toasted. Makes 1 loaf 2 quart round baking dish or 2 loaves/regular pans.
