FRENCH SILK PIE 
25 vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. melted butter

FILLING:

3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
3 eggs

Mix together all crust ingredients and press into pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and melted chocolate. Add eggs one at a time and beat for 5 minutes after each egg (very important). Then spread filling in pie crust and refrigerate. Serves 6-8 people.
