GRILLED FLANK STEAK
1 whole flank steak, approx. 2 lbs.
1 lg. onion, minced
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper

Combine all the ingredients EXCEPT the flank steak. Spread half of the mixture over one side of the flank steak. Place, prepared side down, in a shallow pan or on foil or waxed paper. Spread meat with remaining mixture and let stand for one hour.

Grill quickly over hot coals about 5 minutes on each side for medium rare. Brush with remaining marinade. To serve, cut steak on the diagonal at about a 45 degree angle.

May be cooked inside in the broiler accompanied by restuffed baked potatoes and carrots. Carrots can be heated in the broiler pan under the steak as it cooks. Adds delicious flavor! 6 servings.

Loved this! Slight mustard flavor very good! My husband thought it should have had a touch more salt. Four stars because I wish that the onions didn't all fall off in the grill...
