SMOKED FLANK STEAK | |
1 1/2 lb. flank steak MARINADE: 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce 1 tbsp. light brown sugar 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. garlic salt Whisk together all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl until thoroughly combined. Place the steak in a Ziploc bag, pour the marinade over it, squeeze out all the air, and seal. Refrigerate for 8 hours to marinate. Preheat your Z Grills pellet smoker to 225°F using hickory pellets. Take the steak out of the fridge, place it on the smoker, and smoke for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F or your desired doneness. After removing the steak from the smoker, let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a juicy and tender steak. Submitted by: Z Grills |
