1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
Apples, peeled and thinly sliced
Sugar and cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, salt, baking powder and flour. Mix well. Press dough onto a jelly roll pan. Insert thinly slice apples into top of dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon to taste. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
