CURRIED ONIONS 
4 med. white onions, thinly sliced
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. curry powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute onions in butter over very low heat (very slow cooking of the onions gives them a very delicate, almost sweet taste). Saute until limp and translucent. Stir in curry powder and salt and pepper and continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes.

Serve as a topping for hot dogs, along with mustard and sauerkraut if desired.
