This is a FANTASTIC recipe - I used 1 tsp. thyme and omitted the bay leaf (didn't have one). Next time, I'll add carrots. Great recipe!

The dish was great. I think next time I will break up a package of top ramen type noodles into the dish and see how that adds to it.

Loved this recipe. I didn't have any thyme so I didn't use it and I added some stewed, diced tomatoes. SOOOO good!

I loved the thought of this recipe so I spruced it up a bit. I used all ingredients except bay leaf (didn't have). I took the potatoes and left the skin on with the onion I fried them in a electric fry pan. Then I strained them then put all the ingredients together cooked them for 20 minutes, added a lil more water brought it back to a boil and added a lil wonder flour stirring in like a gravy. Thickness is up to you. Seperately I boiled a bowtie pasta and added it in later. Came out great.

I was looking for something different for kielbasa and this was perfect. I was a little hesitant at first but it turned out great! My sister loved it. I did substitue rotini pasta for the potatoes as I was roasting potatoes as a side dish. I used Italian green beans and they were very good with this dish. I also used Campbell's French Onion Soup and a can of water in place of the beef broth.

I was looking for another way to make kielbasa and had limited ingredients in the pantry, but turns out I had all of these. Love the other comments especially the different ways everyone substituted ingredients--I will try a different way next time.

Wow this was great! Made it pretty much exactly as specified, but I used frozen beans instead of canned, red onion, and used red skinned potatoes and left the skin on. This was SOOO good! My husband said it was the best kielbasa recipe he ever tasted. I am inclined to agree! 5 stars!

Made this last night. First, I have to say that I am a 26 year old newly married man who doesnt cook that much. This was a great recipe. I used corn instead of green beans as green beans are not tolerated by either of us. This was simple and very effective as a hearty Maine meal should be. And duh, its yummy. Thank you!

I just wanted to make kielbasa a different way and this was it. I did just what the recipe called for expect I used a can of corn instead of the grn beans. It was a hit with the family. Next time I'll use more kielbasa. Thanks

Excellent recipe! Even the the picky wife liked it. The only changes I made were beef boulion instead of broth and I added a sliced apple. Gave the dish a bit of sweetness.

I made this exactly as written and thought it was horrible. There were too many onions and they should have been sauteed first. The rest of the ingredients didn't blend well together. It was like a bad, cheap beef stew. I would never make this again.

Thought it was excellent, used marjoram instead of thyme since I didn't have any and cooked the onions before starting to make sure they were done. The whole family loved it
