Made it and added about two cups of cooked cabbage and a 15 oz. can of navy beans. Three night of meals for the two of us.

I googled recipes as a last minute savior and kabow! I found this recipe. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! I added mushrooms, which was a hit. I didn't have a bay leaf. And forgot to add thyme until 6 minutes into cooking (oops) but it still turned out great! Thanks

I subtracted the broth and added a can of diced tomatoes. Let that simmer for a bit then added a cup of stock that I had left over. And some left over chickpeas, it smells wonderful right now!

I got a package of Kielbasa at the store and had no idea how to fix it unless I put it under the broiler. When I found this recipe a couple days ago, I thought - hm m m m.
I made your skillet kielbasa today and both my husband and I love it. Thanks for sharing. We will definitely fix this again. :)

This was fantastic! 5 forks!! Used beef kielbasa, stewed tomatoes, yellow potatoes and 1 sweet potato to add sweetness. Husband and I could stop eating it. Would make a good crock pot dish. Imagine the smell when you walk in the door!

Excellent! I have tried a few "expirements" as I like to call them to find some new main dish recipes and this is our favorite so far. I followed the recipe except I omitted the bay leaf and added bowtie pasta with about 15 minutes left. I live in Florida and always cook our kielbasa on the grill so I was hesitant at first but it was a good flavorful hardy meal. Quick, easy, and budget friendly. My boyfriend love it so it's a keeper!

I made this tonight, I did use onion soup mix and water because I did not have broth.I used green beans and carrots. My whole family like it, even my youngest and he is a very picky eater.

I actually followed the recipe, except used low sodium ingredients when available. Although it didn't say, I did cut up the kielbasa into bite sized pieces. I cooked it in my electric skillet. It was very tasty, but would be better in the winter. It was easy to prepare. I will pick the fat off of the cold leftovers. If there is a lot, I will cook it the day before and reheat it next time. Kielbasa is a treat for us.

This recipe was awesome. But to me it seemed to lack something. So I made some white rice. Put the rice on the plate and add this recipe on top of it. I couldn't stop eating it!

Thought it was excellent, used marjoram instead of thyme since I didn't have any and cooked the onions before starting to make sure they were done. The whole family loved it

 Laura (United States) says:
I made this exactly as written and thought it was horrible. There were too many onions and they should have been sauteed first. The rest of the ingredients didn't blend well together. It was like a bad, cheap beef stew. I would never make this again.

Excellent recipe! Even the the picky wife liked it. The only changes I made were beef boulion instead of broth and I added a sliced apple. Gave the dish a bit of sweetness.

I just wanted to make kielbasa a different way and this was it. I did just what the recipe called for expect I used a can of corn instead of the grn beans. It was a hit with the family. Next time I'll use more kielbasa. Thanks
