FIG PRESERVES 
3 c. mashed figs (about 20)
3 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin

Mix figs, gelatin and sugar in a large saucepan; bring to boil over medium heat and boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour quickly into glasses and cover at once with hot paraffin. Makes about 6 medium glasses.
