PEACHY FIG PRESERVES 
3 c. figs, peeled and mashed
3 c. sugar
1 pkg. peach Jello (or strawberry)

Mix together. Add: 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. water Pinch of salt

Bring to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down. Boil 1 minute; skim. Put in jars and seal while hot.
