4 c. mashed figs
3 c. sugar
2 sm. boxes strawberry Jello

Combine sugar and figs. Cook slowly for 15 minutes. Add 2 boxes of Jello, continue to cook 10 minutes longer. Let cool. Pour into jelly jars. Makes approximately 3 pints.
