COCOA-CHIP COOKIES 
2/3 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. dairy sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. mint chocolate chips or regular chocolate chips

Cream shortening and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by large teaspoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until puffed and slightly cracked. Remove from cookie sheet, cool on wire rack.

DELICIOUS! My whole family loved them (even the "non chocolate lovers")! Next time, I want to use mint or peanut butter chips. (I used semi-sweet this time.) Excellent cookies!
