TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
Frosting:

1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 lb. confectioners sugar
3 tbsp. milk or more

Bring to boil the butter, vanilla and cocoa. Remove from heat. Add confectioners sugar and milk. Spread over warm cake.

Number of Servings: Many. Preparation Time: A total of about 45 minutes, including baking time.

Cake:

1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream

Bring butter, water and cocoa to boil. Remove from heat when it boils. Add (pre-measured) flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Beat in eggs and sour cream.

Bake in a 17 x 13 x 1-inch pan (cookie sheet/jelly roll pan), greased and floured, for 22 minutes at 350°F. Do not overbake.
