JALAPENO CORN BREAD 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 jalapenos, chopped
12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 c. salad oil
2 beaten eggs
1 can cream corn

STEP 1: Grease large baking dish, 9x13 inches.

STEP 2: Mix and brown hamburger, onion and jalapeno. Pour off any grease and add cheese. Remove from heat after cheese has melted.

STEP 3: Mix cornmeal, soda, salt, milk, oil, eggs and corn.

Place half of Step 3 in baking dish. Sprinkle Step 2 on top. Add rest of Step 3 on top of Step 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until time to cook. Serves 4.
