"THE BEST BREAD PUDDING EVER" 
8 to 10 slices toasted white bread
2 sticks butter
4 c. cream
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1/2 c. raisins
Nutmeg

Melt butter. Break toasted bread into pieces and coat well with butter. In separate bowl, mix eggs, sugar, cream, vanilla until smooth. Pour bread into rectangular baking dish. Pour creamed mixture over bread. Press bread down. Add raisins. Press raisins down. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
