RUM BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/3 c. rum
2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed (about 44)
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. light Karo syrup
1 c. ground walnuts

Melt chocolate pieces over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, rum, and syrup. Fold in vanilla wafers and nuts. Shape into balls (1 inch), roll in powdered sugar and some in ground walnuts. Makes 4 dozen. Store in tightly covered container for several days.
