BROCCOLI-CHEESE SOUP 
1 tsp. butter
1 1/2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. chicken base
1/4 c. fine noodles, cooked to firm
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 qt. whole milk
1/4 c. coarsely grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 lb. chopped broccoli, cooked and drained

Combine all ingredients in large soup pot and simmer (being careful not to boil) until completely blended, about 1/2 hour. Serve hot with freshly ground pepper to taste.
