BROCCOLI SOUP 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
3 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules or cubes
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. med. egg noodles
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
2 c. milk
1 sm. can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 sm. jar of Cheese Whiz

STEP 1: In a large Dutch oven or kettle cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown.

STEP 2: Stir in water, chicken bouillon and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.

STEP 3: Add noodles, cook uncovered 5 minutes.

STEP 4: Add frozen broccoli, return to boiling, cook for 3 minutes.

STEP 5: Stir in milk and canned soup, heat through.

STEP 6: Add cheese. Cook over low heat until cheese melts, stirring occasionally. Season to taste. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
