3 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
2/3 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. water

Sift dry ingredients together. Add oil, vanilla and water. Stir until no lumps remain. Pour into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees, 30 to 35 minutes. Frost when cold and serve directly from pan. Frost with any chocolate frosting.
