LIGHT AND EASY ROLLS 
3 1/2 c. flour (plain)
1 pkg. yeast
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. Crisco
1 c. warm water
1 egg

Pour water into mixing bowl of electric mixer. Add yeast and mix thoroughly. Add Crisco. Add sugar and egg to water and yeast mixture. Add flour a little at a time until all but half cup or little more of flour remains.

Beat thoroughly after each addition until dough is smooth. Slightly grease bowl and turn mixture into bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled or put in refrigerator overnight. Make out in desired shapes and let rise until doubled. Bake at 12 to 15 minutes or until brown. Makes about 24 rolls, small or less rolls if desired.
