NUTTY CORN CASSEROLE MICROWAVED 
1 can (12 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
1/4 c. chopped celery
Salt to taste
White pepper to taste
Chili powder or curry powder to taste
1 med. ripe tomato, cut into eighths
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. shredded, aged Cheddar cheese

Mix together corn, celery, salt, pepper and chili powder in 1 quart casserole; cover and microwave on HIGH 2 minutes and stir. Arrange tomatoes in circle on top and sprinkle with walnuts; cover and microwave on HIGH 2 minutes longer until hot. Top with shredded cheese; cover and let stand 1 minute before serving piping hot.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
