WHOLE WHEAT BUNS | |
1 c. water, warm 2 pkgs. yeast 2 tbsp. sugar Dissolve above 3 ingredients, then add and knead: 3 c. warm water 1/2 c. salad oil 1/2 c. honey 1/4 c. molasses 2 eggs 2 tbsp. salt 6 c. whole wheat flour 4-6 c. white flour Dissolve yeast and sugar in one cup of water. Let rise for 5 minutes. Mix 3 cups warm water, salad oil, honey, molasses, eggs and salt in mixer add yeast mix. Then add the whole wheat flour and white flour. Knead seven minutes, let rise. Shape into buns, about 60 minutes. Let rise again. Bake buns at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
