WHOLE WHEAT BUNS 
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Crisco
2 tbsp. molasses
3 tbsp. honey
1 c. boiling wtaer (pour over above and cool to warm)
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 egg
1 c. white flour

Beat 3 minutes in mixer bowl. Stir in 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 cups white flour. Knead. Let rise 1 hour. Make into buns and flatten. Let rise again. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
