WHOLE WHEAT BUNS 
2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. dry milk (I use more)
1 tbsp. salt
3/4 c. oil
4 1/2 c. white flour
2 pkgs. yeast
3 eggs
3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour

Combine water, sugar, milk, salt and oil; heat to lukewarm. Combine 4 cups white flour and yeast in bowl; add liquid and eggs. Stir in whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup white flour. Knead to elasticity consistency.

Cover and let rise 1 1/2 hours. Punch down and divide into 24-30 portions into bun-like sizes. Let rise 30-45 minutes on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
