APPLE CRUMBLE | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. shortening Combine all but shortening ingredients; then add shortening and mix well. Press half of mixture into greased 9x13 pan. Spread sliced apples over mixture to cover good. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg on top of apples. Cover with rest of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes. |
